Rapid Results (CEDIS) - LGBTQ Health Services

West Hollywood, CA

OUR PURPOSE

Men’s Health Foundation (MHF) connects men at risk to comprehensive healthcare and wellness through education, collaboration, and advocacy, inspiring and empowering all men to live longer, healthier and happier lives.  We see a world where inequity and stigma do not separate men from healthcare.

THE POSITION

Under the supervision of the Rapid Results Program Manager, the Community Embedded Disease Investigation Specialist (CEDIS) will play a vital role in Men’s Health Foundation’s mission to arrest the spread of HIV/STDs in the community through their work in our express testing clinics. In these fast-paced and dynamic environments, the CEDIS will work daily with MHF’s committed staff to provide our diverse patients access to HIV/STD testing, treatment, and health education. The CEDIS will provide compassionate, informed, and patient-centered counseling to clients including safer sex education, education about test results, and referrals to care. The CEDIS will also work with patients’ partners to education them about their own risk, need to get tested, and treatment options.
